THE DISCIPLINE OF HOPE.⁣ ⁣ We are traversing d THE DISCIPLINE OF HOPE.⁣ ⁣ We are traversing deep waters in today's world, no question. ⁣ ⁣ There is a disease that is rampant that no one can give us answers about. The United States and its government has taken a hard right turn towards authoritarianism and fascism.⁣ ⁣ Most of us never, in a million years, would have thought we'd live to see times like these.⁣ ⁣ So how do we stay hopeful? How, with the world on fire, does one remain optimistic?⁣ ⁣ 🚫 First let me tell you what not to do. Don't sit around waiting for life to give you a reason to feel this feeling. Don't look to the outside world to provide the impetus for your hope. ⁣ ⁣ ✅ DO make a conscious decision to stay hopeful for both yourself and your community because it's what feels better and it's what the world needs now. ⁣ ⁣ 🙌🏼 That is to say, it is for the highest good that we hold the high vision of this pandemic coming to an end. Of an American administration that favors humanity above profit.⁣ ⁣ 🏋🏼 DO think of hope the same way you would think about going to the gym. It's a muscle that needs training. It needs consistency.⁣ ⁣ Being hopeful is like being happy: it's a choice that most people don't even realize is theirs to make.⁣ ⁣ We are in this together team. We have to bring the light to this darkness. We have to be the glow. And we have be that glow while ALSO paying attention and taking aligned action to make sure democracy doesn't become a thing of the past. ⁣ ⁣ Between now and November, I invite you to practice the #disciplineofhope with me. Lots of new faces on here so going to take a momen Lots of new faces on here so going to take a moment to properly (re)introduce myself to y'all!! :) My name is Molly Joseph and I'm a self love coach and a transformational teacher 🙋🏼‍♀️✨ ⁣ 💡 I got into personal development work 10 years ago when I was on my deathbed with an autoimmune condition and thyroid cancer.⁣ ⁣ 📚 After making a "miraculous" recovery sans conventional medicine, I decided to dedicate my life to paying forward the gifts that saved me during that dark time: holistic practices and cutting-edge scientific information. ⁣ ❤️ As a self love coach, I help people heal whatever trauma is in the way of them loving themselves and recognizing their inherent worthiness. I help them manifest the lives they both want and deserve. ⁣ ⁣ 🤓 My healing cocktail of choice pulls from the fields of neuroscience, quantum physics, epigenetics and psychology (the areas of research that supported my recovery). I used to want to look like someone else. Can any I used to want to look like someone else. Can any of my womxn relate? ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I grew up in a suburb of NYC, and all of my friends were either Hispanic or Italian. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ Blonde and fair, my look was not the exotic one everyone seemingly coveted. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I had little breasts and a big butt, and this was also a source of shame (super cool now, not so much back then!). ⁣⁣⁣⁣ At 13, in an effort to "fix my shape" I became bulimic. I figured if I got rid of my big butt then at least I would just be skinny (rather than thick in the wrong places). ⁣⁣⁣⁣ The climax of my physical self-rejection didn't arrive until much, much later, in in my 20's, when I dated a man who confessed that he preferred a different "type"' from mine: his ideal female was someone dark-haired, tan and "exotic."⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ His admission hit me hard: all of my childhood insecurities had just been reflected back to me by the one person on the planet I desperately desired to be seen by as perfectly beautiful.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ I was deep in personal development work by then: so I knew I SHOULD use this incident as a catalyst for my growth - but in that moment I was too hurt to do anything but curl into a ball and weep. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ It took a while for me to transform this one. I remember contemplating leaving him. Investing in massive amounts of self tanner. Getting a boob job. But in the end I knew what I needed to do was just to fucking learn how to see MYSELF once and for all. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ 7 years later, there is zero question that that breaking point in my 20's has alchemized itself into one of the most incredible gifts of my life.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣ The pain that ex resurrected from my past catapulted me into 4 years of healing my relationship to my body... Of undoing the lies of "not enoughness" i had bought into from my culture and personal history.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The end result of all that inner work is the insanely pleasurable and rewarding self-love practice I have today... which I wouldn't trade for ANYTHING and that I am honored to teach to all of my clients. ⁣⁣⁣⁣ The short rest of this story and it's beautiful unfolding into a whirlwind romance with ME (♥️) is continued in photos above, go up and scroll right my loves :)👆🏼
SISTERHOOD.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The black and whit SISTERHOOD.⁣ ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The black and white challenge from last week got me thinking about how crazy it is that I very rarely share anything about my friendships here on IG.⁣ ⁣ In full honesty, my female friendships are the best thing in my entire life: my most coveted manifestation yet.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ These women hold me when I'm down and celebrate THE FUCK out of me when I triumph. There is no jealousy or competition: when one of us wins, we all do.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Because in my past I had been betrayed by women, it took me a while to open up. The ladies in these photos (and a few others my new phone doesn't have photos of), have held me through my most vulnerable moments.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ They brought me ice cream and tissues during my breakup. They pray for me when I have a big meeting or talk to give. They never reject me as being "too much" or "a burden" when my sensitive heart fears that they might. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ The more of me I show them - even the "ugly" parts I'm scared to reveal - the more they show up and stand by me. The healing that has come from this is more than words can say. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I see my female friendships like plants... They need a bit of water and sunshine. Some more than others, but all the blossoms keep me seeing beauty on even the dark days. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ Dear my closest women friends, thank you. I see you, I love you, I got you, I cherish you. ♥️🙏🏼⁣⁣⁣
